Education Minister Michelle McIlveen has officially opened the new Centre of Excellence for Creative and Expressive Arts at St Louis Grammar School, Ballymena.
The Centre includes facilities for music, drama, art, moving image and media studies with additional space for an ICT Suite and Sixth Form Centre.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Minister said: "This is a great day for everyone at St Louis Grammar and the wider Ballymena area. I am confident this impressive new Creative and Expressive Arts Centre will enhance the learning environment for the whole school community.
"The significant investment of Pound 4.5million has created a fantastic new Centre equipped with modern and high-quality facilities, which I know will be enjoyed by pupils for many generations to come.
"I would like to acknowledge the efforts of everyone involved in this project, including the past and present school staff, Governors, consultants, contractors, and officials. I want to wish everyone associated with the school every success for the future."
